PAL's Calendar of Events
May is National Historic Preservation Month
Thanks to everyone involved in providing the special events PAL hosts each year in May, and to all who participate in those events. Congratulations to the recipients of PAL's 2010 Heritage Awards!
Special events throughout the year
* Winter Party - held in an historic home in the Greater La Crosse area
* Heritage Awards Banquet (annually in May) - honoring historic rehab properties and individuals who have been
instrumental in historic preservation efforts
* Heritage Home Tours (annually in October) - interior tours of historic homes in our community, with an emphasis
on architecture and stories of previous occupants
* Education - lectures, tours, and movies geared toward architectural history and preservation in our own
community and beyond
* Preservation activism - PAL members are made aware when historic resources are threatened, and
PAL is there to help educate and facilitate the hopeful retention and preservation of threatened
properties.
